What type of Kitchen Facilities do you need?
Depending on what type of menu you decide on, will depend on what facilities we will need. We will need to have a site inspection prior to your event so that we can see what is available. On a very basic level, we will need power, running hot water and refrigeration. We will also need adequate ovens etc and these can be hired if the venue does not have them. Anything else that you need we can help you organise.
Do you supply staff to serve the food?
Yes, we do. Our staff are a highly professional and experienced team who will be impeccably presented and will ensure that every guest is happy.
Do your have a minimum spend?
Yes we do - $1,500.00 minimum spend on food plus staff costs.
What other costs will there be
In addition to the costs stated in the menu there will be staff costs. Generally budgeted at $50.00 per hour for your chef/s and $35.00 per hour for front of house and bar staff. Sundays and public holidays will be a higher rate. Once you provide your timeline for food service we can quote you on how much staff costs will be.
Do you manage the bar?
No sorry. We can provide bar staff to serve alcohol if you would like. We also have lots of contacts who will provide full bar service who we would be happy to recommend.
Can you make our Wedding Cake?
Yes we can. Please discuss with us what you want and we will be able to make it happen. If you have organised your own wedding cake, we would be happy to cut it up for you and distribute it to your guest.
Do we need to pay a deposit?
Yes - you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit $1,500.00 deposit to secure your date. Once secured your booking is guaranteed. For
smaller events, we will accept a $500.00 deposit to secure your dates.
What about COVID plans?
We know the world has gone crazy and we also know that we do not have any control of how this or any other pandemic will pan out. Should the government regulate that your function cannot go ahead, we will work with you on an alternate date/venue or whatever you need.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Of course. We cater for vegetarian, vegan, celiac and a vast majority of other dietary requirements. We have a dietitian on our team who will ensure that everyone gets fed! While every effort will be made to ensure that there is no cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that this will not happen, especially when we move to the venue's kitchen. Any guests with a severe allergy should be advised of this.
Do you provide glasses, cutlery, crockery?
No sorry. We will provide the food and the serving crockery and cutlery. Everything else you will need to organise with the venue.
How do I choose our menu?
As a start, best to have a chat with one of our experienced staff so that we can collaborate on a menu to suit your occasion. Secondly, it is highly recommended that you attend one of our tasting events which are held 4 times a year. Please complete the enquiry form for details of the next tasting.

Terms and conditions of bookings
1. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 for small gatherings and $1,500.00 for weddings, will need to be paid to secure the date of your function.
2. Final number for the event must be received 4 weeks prior to the event.
3. 50% payment will need to be paid 1 month from the date of the event.
4. Final payment must be made 10 days prior to the event.
5. Should a pandemic or similar global disaster occur, bookings can be transferred to a future date at no extra cost and pending availability.
6. Clockwork Catering will endeavour to ensure that all dietary requirements are met however note that cross-contamination may occur.
7. Full terms and conditions of the booking will be outlined in the service agreement.
